MAC Frou lipstick, in my opinion, is a lipstick color that will look very different on everyone depending on their coloring and whether they are applying it alone or over or under another lipstick or a lipgloss
When wearing MAC Frou lipstick, you will definitely be getting a pale lip look, and actually one that is somewhat nude with silver shimmer in appearance
I found the staying power of MAC Frou lipstick to be good

MAC lipstick in Frou is a shimmery, kind of frosty, cool light beige lipstick with some silver shot through it. When applied, it is actually rather sheer. MAC Frou lipstick, in my opinion, is a lipstick color that will look very different on everyone depending on their coloring and whether they are applying it alone or over or under another lipstick or a lipgloss.  I am a fair skinned Caucasian with blonde hair and green eyes. On me, I always had to be careful when using MAC Frou lipstick to make sure that it did not wash me out. 
 However, I sometimes paired it with Explicit lipglass or with a lipstick color and that worked quite successfully for me. 

 When wearing MAC Frou lipstick, you will definitely be getting a pale lip look, and actually one that is somewhat nude with silver shimmer in appearance.  If that is the look that you are going for, then MAC Frou lipstick may be just what you are looking for. I originally acquired MAC Frou lipstick as part of a MAC eyeshadow, blush, and lipstick makeup palette a few years ago. 
 I have now used it up so I definitely found ways of using it that worked for me. However, lately I have not been as into the cool, beige lip look, so I don't know whether I would repurchase MAC Frou lipstick if given the choice to do so.

 I always applied it with a lip brush as my MAC Frou lipstick was in a palette so I cannot say what the texture of MAC Frou lipstick is if you are applying in from the tube.
